Italian brutal/symphonic death metallers Fleshgod Apocalypse have revealed the cover artwork for their new album "Agony".
The band comments : “The album cover is about the eternal struggle of mankind; we’re condemned to live facing our evil side, which dwells in every one of us. We are like tied to the ground, forced in chains that can't be broken, so the man in the cover is representing all humanity and its eternal agony, knowing that it's almost impossible to liberate ourselves from the obscurity of our nature. Unless we decide to admit to ourselves who we are and face our doom, that would be the only way to free our kind and rise to an higher conscience, someday.”

Comments guitarist Stefan Weinerhall: "The video for 'Vid Rosornas Grav' is re-enacting a story that took place not far from where we live. It gives you a vision of what position you would have 150 years ago if you were just a common man or serf.
It surely doesn't look like a metal video in the beginning but then again, when have Falconer ever been about being as metal as possible. The video is once again produced and directed by www.1897.se that also did the video for 'Carnival of disgust'".

Municipal Waste have issued the following statement :
“It took a real long time to decide what we were going to do for our next record. We wanted to work with a label that were not only fans of the band and our music, but were willing to get behind any ridiculous idea that we could think of. Once we realized this, Nuclear Blast was the obvious choice. The Blast has been friends with the band long before doing a record was even a possibility. I feel like we’re starting off with a clean slate and decade of experience to start back up on the right track. Expect some great things in the near future from the WASTE. This is only the beginning!” -Foresta
"Nuclear Blast has shown their love for the WASTE for years. And when it came time for a new deal, it was a no brainer in my eyes. NB all the way. We are thrilled to be included among a roster of great bands and hard working people that love them. I can't wait to get into that studio!" -Witte
The band will be entering the studio this summer to record their fifth full-length album.

US thrashers Warbringer have set "Worlds Torn Asunder" as the title for their new effort, which will be released in September via Century Media. The album was produced by Steve Evetts, who has previously worked with The Dillinger Escape Plan, Sepultura, Symphony X ...
Frontman John Kevill comments : "With this record we were trying to do 2 things, to make something that progressed in new directions from our previous work, but also to keep all the speed and intensity at the forefront. I really think we've pulled that off with this record, we have a great and diverse batch of songs. Musically I think we have songs on this record that move forward from the styles of both our previous records, and some that go in completely new directions that the band has never done before. We are really excited to put this record out, we are really trying to raise the bar with this one."

"At the Mountains of Madness", a brand new track from US thrashers Diamond Plate, can be streamed at this location. The song comes off the group's debut album "Generation Why ?" due to be released on August 29th via Earache Records.
Guitarist Konrad Kupiec comments : "All of us couldn't be more excited to release 'At the Mountains of Madness' as the first song off 'Generation Why?'. With the original video for this song nearing 100,000 views on YouTube, 'Mountains' is arguably the song most people know us by, and we want to give old and new fans the perfect representation of how much we've improved over the past few years. With this album, the band sounds tighter and heavier, while the song-writing is more focused than ever.
The song is inspired by the H.P. Lovecraft novel of the same name, although we went deeper than the classic horror story of the novel and made our own social commentary present in the lyrics. As to our theme, that is for the listener to interpret and figure out.
Right now we're actually hard at work at writing for the second album (very inspired and not wasting any time haha), while simultaneously preparing to hit the road for the first time in August. With touring plans already in the works until next year, we will be out for a long time."

"Born to Lose", a brand new song from US Christian metalcore band The Devil Wears Prada is available for streaming at this location. The track comes off the group's new album, which will be released on September 13. Commented vocalist Mike Hranica : "The new record contains the heavy aspects of the Zombie EP, meshed with the melody of the full-lengths. ‘Born To Lose’ captures some of those elements and serves as a comprehensive preview to the album. By all means I'd call it our most emotional, well-written album to date."

Did you know ?
During Amon Amarth's first US headline tour in 2007, in middle of their setlist, the band would raise their drinking horns to the crowd and sip the drink, they did this in all the cities except in Salt Lake City, Utah, where the venue asked the band not to have alcohol in the horns. The band thought it was ridiculous to drink water from the horns so Salt Lake City did not see those Vikings with their drinking horns on stage. - More info about Amon Amarth
