Last week , in Bergen (Norway) , was held the annual "Bergen Gay Galla" , which give awards to persons and institutions that have contributed to the gay community . The prestigious "Homosexual Of The Year" award was given to the former Gorgoroth vocalist Kristian Eivind (aka Gaahl) , who accepted it in person .
Gaahl commented : " I don't need an award to be myself. But if this can help other people in the same scene as me, it's a positive thing . "
Gaahl is currently in a relationship with Robin Jalobsen (picture below) .
After nearly 30 000 views, the full and uncensored version of the brand new video from Sweden black metal band Dark Funeral “My Funeral” has been pulled from MySpace!
In a statement posted on the official website of the band, Guitarist Lord Ahriman said: "so, it took about 3 days, and from what I have been told, 30.000 views, for MySpace to pull our new majestic video for “My Funeral”. That’s fucking lame to say the least! Even though I respect My Space and their rules, I’m totally against censorship. The way I see it, and as long as it’s not illegal (and there sure wasn’t anything illegal in the video), if you find something on the internet you don’t like, just don’t fucking watch it! How hard can it be? Let everyone else who enjoy it do so without your interfering.
Either way, whoever flagged it should know that you just did us a great, great favor, thank you! Now people will hunt the uncensored version and I’m absolutely sure that you’re pathetic action will increase the plays with thousands and thousands of views. So once again, thank you, but fuck you!"
An alternate version of the video has been posted on the popular networking website. Meanwhile, the original video still can be viewed on the band's website.
