Suffocation will headline this year's festival held in San Antonio, Texas. The legendary East Coast brutal death metal band is the first headlining announce.

A special performance by Bloodsoaked featuring members of Disfigured and Severe Torture as well as performances by Deceased, Cardiac Arrest, Disfigured, Insidious Discrepancy, Engaged In Mutilating, Gravehill, Nokturnel, Vore, Woods of Ypress, Sacrificial Slaughter, HOD, Lair of the Minotaur have also been confirmed.

The fifth installment of the Goregrowler's Ball will take place November 18-20, 2011. Steeped in heart of one of America's death metal hot spots, San Antonio, Texas, the Goregrowler's ball has featured the best underground death metal from Texas and around the nation.

Suffocation bassist Derek Boyer has joined the technical death metal band Decrepit Birth. Commented DB guitarist Matt Sotelo : "We are very proud to announce that bassist Derek Boyer is returning to the full-time DECREPIT BIRTH lineup!
Derek was a very strong force on our debut album, and his skills have only improved over the past years as the bassist for the mighty SUFFOCATION.
Having Derek back in the band is a really exciting situation for us, because he brings so much to the table and is one of our best friends.
