Touring on their new album Resolution, released on January 16th, Lamb of God, in the middle of their Asian Tour, came by Japan with two dates in Osaka and Tokyo, both with their Taiwanese mates Chthonic. The first date was in the ultra-lively area of Shibuya, precisely in the live house “Shibuya O East”, that you now well know.
The metalheads were massively present, and while the Shibuya O East is relatively large, it was completely packed, since the start with Chthonic.
I met the adorable John Campbell prior to the show, for a 20 minutes interview about the release of Resolution, the band and their success, John’s personal life and progress, and their tour and relation with Chthonic.

I then joined the crowd to see the performance of Chthonic, and then something simply unimaginable happened. I got violently thrown out of the venue while I had the passes to cover the show, and then could not watch the whole set of Chthonic, nor a minute of Lamb of God performance.
That is as intolerable as non professional, but it can’t be helped…
